Meet either at the new Walmart parking lot at 7:00 AM or at the North parking area at the Hinsdale Setbacks at 7:10 AM. We'll spend 2-3 hours walking the rail trail along the Connecticut River looking for migrating waterfowl, sparrows and early warblers. NEW THIS YEAR: In the hopes of introducing more new people to birding, this bird walk will offer two different options - 1. the usual bird walk where we try to see as many birds as possible. 2. a walk for beginning birders where the guides will focus on learning to sight and identify birds, learning how to use binoculars and describe the location of a bird relative to landmarks.
