Hinsdale Setbacks Walk #3

SVAS had our third Saturday morning bird walk of the season on this past Saturday. Highlights included the return of many of our neotropical migrants - Baltimore Oriole, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Northern Parula, American Restart and an unexpected Mourning Warbler. We also observed nesting and nest building behavior in birds such as American Robin, Blue Gray Gnatcatcher and Song Sparrow. Our next walk is tomorrow (5/8) at the Marina at 5:30 PM and our next Saturday walk is this coming Saturday at 7:30 AM at the Hinsdale Setbacks.
