Signs of Spring at the Marina

Our first Tuesday night bird walk of 2018 was held tonight at the Marina in Brattleboro. While the birds were relatively quiet overall, we were treated to a Green Heron and a pair of Wood Ducks in the wetlands past the cornfield. There were abundant Eastern Phoebes calling throughout the hike and a lone Palm Warbler entertained us along the river trail. Always nice to see the first of the warblers in the spring! Participants were also rewarded with a picturesque sunset over the West River.

Our next walk will be next Tuesday (4/17) at 5:30 PM at the Marina. Hope to see you there!
